Almost twenty years after the premature departure of Dino Dvornik, the Croatian music scene still feels the influence of his inexhaustible energy and innovation. As a singer, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, the king of funk has pushed the boundaries of domestic music and set new production standards, skillfully combining modern dance rhythms, humor and global technological trends. From his debut album to the posthumously awarded Pandora's Box, Dino left behind an indelible mark and songs that have been permanently inscribed in the collective consciousness of all generations.
The HRT Jazz Orchestra under the direction of conductor Miron Hauser pays tribute to his great legacy. At this special concert, the audience will be able to enjoy new, exciting interpretations of anthological hits such as Wormwood and Honey, You Are My Thoughts, Why You Make an Elephant Out of Me, Stronger Maniacs and Love Is Called by Your Name. The jazz orchestra will be joined on stage by excellent guest vocalists Sabrina Hebiri and Mario Huljev, who will bring a refreshed sound to Dino's timeless hits with their voices and energy.
