The C8 Gallery is one of the exhibition spaces of the Archaeological Museum of Istria intended for smaller-scale exhibitions. The gallery's program includes in-house and visiting exhibitions, thematic projects, presentations of the results of archaeological investigation, and collaborations with other museums, associations, and educational institutions.

The gallery's name originated from the repeated use of the abbreviation of the Carrarina 8 address in the form of C8, and the logo is a play on the name and the shape of the octagonal mausoleum, which is located right next to the gallery and can be seen through its large glass wall.

The gallery is adapted for people with mobility difficulties; a platform has been installed that allows access to the space, located on the raised ground floor and accessed by a set of stairs.
