The From Waste to Print exhibition opened on January 22 at the C4 Gallery, showing how discarded materials can gain new artistic life.
The works were created last year at an Earth Day workshop organised by Ana Kvaranta and AMI. The workshop involved ten pupils of the higher grades of Kaštanjer Primary School accompanied by art teacher Nevana Starčević. Collography technique and motifs from ancient amphorae connected creativity, ecological awareness, and cultural heritage. Participants repurposed refuse items: boxes, cardboard, aluminium foil, plastic bags, nets, and similar materials.
The exhibition is open to February 15 and invites visitors to discover how waste textures, with a contemporary approach to recycling, become unique works.
