The Archaeological Museum of Istria had the honor of hosting the first day of the conference „Istrian Student Days of Archaeology“, organized by the Archaeology Student Club – Herkul, where Luka Škabić, director's advisor – administration, with the lecture „Popularization of Culture and Cultural Heritage“ and Maja Čuka, museum advisor, with the lecture „Accessibility of Prehistoric Material within the Exhibition“ opened the program, showing how archaeological topics come most alive through a good story and quality communication.
Their presentations sparked the dynamics of expert discussions and workshops that connected students through new thoughts about the past and its interpretation.
We are proud that our museum was the starting point of this important gathering that builds a bridge between science, community, and future experts.
Inspired by the energy of young archaeologists, we continue to create an environment where the past is not only researched but also transformed into valuable stories that speak to everyone.
